NEW REQUEST FOR APPLICATIONS
Don’t miss this limited-time funding opportunity for sustainable, community-focused EV projects.
Metropolitan Energy Center (MEC) has issued a request for applications (RFA) for a limited-time opportunity for electric vehicle expansion project funding. Using a $157,000 surplus from our Electric Vehicles in Underserved Markets (EVUM) project, this grant provides a 35% reimbursement for applicants looking to install EV charging stations or transition to electric vehicles. Funds support companies and municipalities needing to purchase electric vehicles or charging stations. Applicant projects would support small businesses and EV use in underserved areas. MEC plans to award select applicants that best fit the goals of the EVUM project.
